Design Reseach Project: Rewritten

The precursor for my Major Design Project, this short comic explores the theme judgement and exclusion framed within a fantasy and mythological world. Like my major project, it not only creates an appreciation for mythology and history from different cultures, but also an escapism for the reader.

This comic is centered around Japanese folklore and mythology, particularly Yokai and how the lines between good and bad are blurred for these creatures. This project allowed me to test the blending of mythical characters with modern themes and storytelling.
